Jon krakauer gave a sense of adventure by using different a camera angles to give an adventures feeling but specifically uses the birds eye view to make Christopher mcandless look small and make the area around him much bigger. He uses the music to give a sense of calmness but at the same time have an impact of the viewers he also reducers the volume and the conversation to make the area seem bigger and more open
