I think the most important part in act 5 scene 3 is when titinus kills himself and then Brutus say”o Julius Caesar, thou art mighty yet,thy spirit walks abroad and turns our swords in our own proper entrails”. I think this means that Brutus is saying that the ghost of Caesar is turning people’s swords into their own body’s which basically means suicide. Brutus try’s to blame the ghost of caesar for his own mistakes
the play of Julius caesar consists of three parts of figurative language, similies, metophors and personification.
in act 3 scene 1 there are a range of figerative languge used in quotations. caesar says “But I am constant as the northern star” this quotation means that he is unmovable or unable to change, this links to a northern start because the northern star never moves and remains the same for ever. this is a simile because he is comparing himself to the northern star.
caesar the says”The skies are painted with unnumbered sparks” this links back to the other quotation”But I am constant as the northern star” because he says he is unmovable. Then he says”the sky is filled with unnumbered sparks” which i think means that everybody are sparks and they revolve around him. this is a metaphor because he says that everyone are spark instead of comparing them to sparks.
Antony’s reaction was seriouse. He could not believe what his own friends had done to Caesar. Antony went along with the conspiracy so that he would not be killed like they killed Caesar.
brutus:” remember march, the ides of march”
brutus said the quotation because he wanted to use that as an excuse so people wouldn’t blame him murdering caesar’ he is saying it was his fate as the soothsayer told him.
antony and octavius are planning on killing the rest of the conspiriters.when Lepidus leaves the room antony talks to octavius about how he is unworthy but octavius thinks otherwise and try to convince him that Lepidus is worthy. Antony says that Lepidus is about as worthy as his horse
